A very new game in the modding world is All the Mods 3: Lite. This new version of the All the series offers more content than its predecessors. In fact, the modding community is talking about it already because it offers so much more. Here are some of the things that I think this game can offer.
First, it introduces a new character into the mix, one who is a machine. Unlike other All the Mods games, you don’t have to create your character from scratch. Instead, the character is a custom-made version of the player’s original account. All the same, it has all the same features as any other mod. That includes special blocks that change the way the game is played.
Secondly, it modifies the way the end-game plays out. The goal in the All the series is to get to the final destination without getting trapped in a “modding zone”. Since there aren’t any map vulnerabilities, this isn’t a big problem. But the challenge is to survive long enough to get there. With this mod, you will have a timer that counts down your time. Each time you go beyond a certain point, a percentage is taken off your time and added to your score.
Last but not least, it tweaks the way mining works. Basically, it changes the ore yield per block you mine. It also makes the most out of wooden items such as chests. You now only need to use a pick if you want to harvest the chest, making for a game that’s more relaxed.
All the mods in All the Mods 3 are compatible with 1.8, but it would help if you also have the latest version of MCM. That way, you won’t accidentally crash the game. However, I managed to download All the Mods 3 without any crashing. That says a lot, considering that most of the older versions of MCM had serious issues that the newer version fixed.
That’s all the information I have for you. If you want to learn more about MCM, or if you just want to see what new in All the mods, check out the official MCM site. You can also find other All the mods on my blog. Enjoy!
