Biomes O’ Plenty (also known as Bop) is a popular mod for creating, which adds over 60 brand new biomes in the game, ranging from the simple Marsh Biome, to the uniquely lush and exotic Polar Highlands Biome. The beautiful biomes included are the following: Beach, Rainforest, Furniture City, Sandy Plain, City, Polar Highlands, Savannah, Theta, and Vintage Beach. Biomes O’ Plenty provides an extremely resourceful modpack which adds many new biomes without making the game look like a “mod”, or changing many of the more effective aspects of the game like new enchanted books and furniture. Biomes O’ Plenty also provides many tweaks and improvements to vanilla blocks and items, resulting in an extremely balanced pack. It also provides a large number of decorative items and blocks that can be placed on the over world map or on the Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Biomes O’ Plenty has been designed so that it adds new chunks to the game in a fairly easy way. For example, when you first download the mod, you will see an initial area of the ocean with lots of wooden ship wrecks scattered throughout. You will then have the option of either repairing these wooden ship wrecks or destroying them. destroying them will cause the ocean floor to be replaced with a brand new ocean floor and the entire area will be biomechanically made to look like it was created specifically for that purpose.
The Biomes O’ Plenty modpack is also great for introducing a large number of players to some of the major ore types and recipes that they will need for furthering their mining capabilities. For example, among all of the different biomes in the game, only the biome gives you any kind of chance at making charcoal. However, using the Biomes O’ Plenty mod, any player can make a chance at earning a single piece of charcoal from any of the other biomes in the game. Even when players mine out other biomes, such as the deserts or the oases, they will still be able to mine some charcoal from those areas using the Biomes O’ Plenty mods.
This is in addition to the many other different types of blocks and items that are available through this modpack. There are several recipes that can be made by using the vanilla blocks for Biomes O’ Plenty, but also blocks from the newest block, which is the seaweed. When you combine the use of these two resources together, you can create 1.16.5 a new world type called the “seaside biome,” which is exactly what the mod was named, since the ocean is part of the new world type.
Biomes O’ Plenty modifies the game in several ways and provides an exciting environment for any player who wants to take on the challenge of trying to survive in a strange world. This modpack does require some knowledge of mining, although it makes the process very easy. The only suggestion we can give to those starting out with the mod would be to read the instructions and tutorial before actually beginning to mine and create crops. Although, after you get started, this is one of the easiest mods to get used to.
