Cooking for Blockheads is a mod that lets the player cook food for various creatures. I have not used this mod very much myself, but I’m sure that it is great for getting started with this type of mod. There are many recipes that can be learned from this mod’s documentation and screenshots. This mod does require you to have some knowledge of how to handle enchanted items, but it is still a great learning experience.
Some of the recipes in this mod are very useful, such as cooking an egg with spider web, as this allows you to produce webs which can trap enemy creeps. You can also craft potions from the various recipes in this mod, such as healing potions which restore health. However, I find that some of the recipes are very simple and without lots of ingredients. This doesn’t mean that these are bad, simply that I didn’t feel that they were as good as all the other recipes in the game. I have been using the vanilla version of these mods, so I didn’t use these when I was testing the mod.
This mod has many recipes for different food items, which can include fruits, vegetables, meats, snacks, and alcoholic drinks. There are also many recipes that give you an item that you can sell to merchants. I didn’t quite understand how you could sell nutritious foods to merchants, but it’s probably because I haven’t used many of the food item recipes yet. There are many more recipes in this mod than vanilla Minecraft, and there are even more that you will find by visiting the official MineTweaker forums. The forums contain loads of information on MineTweaker and this is what I used to learn everything I know about this mod.
After reading the informative articles in the filter book, I created a new profile on the server I was playing on. I added a bunch of recipes that I found on the Internet. This way I didn’t need to read the same recipes over again. I just had to copy paste my recipes into the game and then my game would search for them. It was much easier than before.
When I started using the mod, I was very happy with everything. When I started using the filter book to learn recipes, I realized that I could actually sort some of the recipes according to their ingredients, texture, and type (for example, there were sorting options for fruits). Everything was much easier than before. I could just find a place on the map to cook whatever I was eating. Since there were so many nutrient rich foods in the game, this was really convenient.
However, after using this mod for a while, I began to realize that I wasted so many times my food when cooking for blockheads. For every 5 recipes I made, I should have used a different one. The crafting table in the game is very small and you will spend more time looking for just the right tool to make the meal you want to eat. Also, the food has so many textures that it takes a very long time to sort through them all.
