One of the best mod for Minecraft is Crimson Revelations, where you fight against the zombies in hope to save your world. The story is told through journal entries that are hidden throughout the game. As the game progresses, you will encounter more of these journal entries, giving you more reason to fight against the zombies.
You can find many recipes in the game for the items you need to kill off the zombies. The recipes are divided into common, rare, and epic, and once you have gathered the ingredients to make the item, you must defeat the zombies to gain access to it. Once the recipe is obtained, you can craft it and use it to fight off the zombies. These recipes also give you knowledge about a lot of creatures that are found in the game, allowing you to level up faster.
Unlike other similar mods, this one comes with its own dedicated server. This means that, if you enjoy playing on dedicated servers, you can fully enjoy this game without having to worry about connecting to another server, or about the difficulty levels. That’s because this mod actually keeps track of your progress and will send you a message when you’re on a level you haven’t yet reached, to give you an incentive to continue playing. The good news is that this server runs the latest version of Minecraft, so you can also enjoy the mod without worrying about encountering bugs or glitches.
One thing that makes Crimson revelations better than similar mods is the way it modifies the vanilla game play. For example, instead of walking slowly while looking for items, you’ll be able to run as fast as possible – a great time for a sprinting game. You’ll also notice that there are many more types of arrows and bows available to improve your game play. There are also many more weapons available, including flails and spears – definitely something for the adventurer in you.
As you advance through the game, you will also find that the challenges become greater. There are more powerful weapons available to fight with, as well as advanced machinery that will take out even the most heavily equipped opponents. If you think that these might be too difficult to handle on your own, then try the full version which has a help section that will walk you through every step of the way.
Overall, this server is well designed and runs very smoothly. I haven’t had any problems so far, but I imagine that with some time they will work out any kinks that exist. For me, the benefits of using the forge version were worth the initial learning curve. However, if you feel that you could benefit from more detailed server instructions, then I would highly recommend trying out the lightweight client version – it’s free and gives the same benefits.
