Loads of mod users have asked the question, does the Minecraft Mod Team have plans to add new features to the current Modpack? Well, I can tell you this. The Minecraft Mod Team is working on it, but they have not yet released any news on it. You might be curious as to why, if you are. Let me explain.
First of all, we have seen a lot of mod releases that have introduced new weapons and other things to the game. This has made the game much more exciting as each new mod seems to be bringing something new to play with. However, it also makes the game seem to load much slower than before, which many players hate.
Right now, there is still no way to get rid of the Skirmish screens that show up after using your tools. The reason for this is that the game doesn’t recognize the keys you are hitting, which causes the game to get confused, and as a result, you get a message box with some text asking you to stop hitting the keys. This is annoying, but the mod developers don’t have plans to fix this, at least not soon. They are also working on adding new armor that has special effects.
Right now, the modpack only includes one new block, quartz. You can add your own, of course, but this may conflict with another mod you have installed. The plan is to make this a bi-product, so that if you want to use a new block, you have the ability to switch between them without having to down load the game. Right now, you can’t.
There are some new recipes added, but you can only get the vanilla ones right now. The plan is to expand the modpack by adding new recipes. They are testing the new ones, and there should be some new things added soon enough. In fact, I think they just released another mod, which I have not seen, yet. They’re also adding some new music, which will also be great.
I’m positive that they are working on a new feature or two, since it’s been a while since they have added one. Right now, they want to focus on getting the technical issues in the game fixed. They have a team of artists working on it, so hopefully you will eventually see something new. For now, you can get the current mod pack for MCP revamp, which is the current version. It’s still my favorite!
