Mythic Botany is the first mod for Minecraft which shows a part of the world where nature has taken a powerful hold. It combines many different types of mods into a single world, allowing you to grow anything you want in a simple and easy way. Unlike other modpacks, Mythic Botany takes the time to get to know the biomechanics of the world, so you will rarely find any broken or missing items, as they are always generated on their own. If you are familiar with the standard vanilla modpack, you will immediately feel at home in this one.
With the use of the right type of trees, you can grow almost any type of plant in the game. There are flowers, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and others that can be grown using the right kind of environment. The only limit is your imagination. You can place a number of them on your farm, or just grow randomly in your yard.
The main challenge in Mythic Botany is dealing with the biomes that are available in the game. There are deserts, forests, rainforests, and grasslands, among others. Some can only be reached by travelling, while others are relatively close to your farm. You can build bridges over bodies of water to access different biomes or you can simply have the land beneath your farm look like a map, with different tiles showing where resources are located.
The nutrients in the soil that you grow plants in should be able to replenish themselves after a while, but at the same time it shouldn’t take too long if you are using the right trees. These nutrients are water, wood, coal, and restore, among others. Each of these has its own effects, which you should experiment with to get the kind of growth you want. After all, each of them requires special conditions for survival.
Some crops can also only be grown if there is an existing water source within three mile radius. But even when there isn’t any existing water body, some plants can still grow well with minimal water if you add a tile of dirt with a minimum water requirement for the specific crop you want to grow. Some crops like wheat and potatoes can grow just fine with as little as one bucket of water. The key is knowing which plants will produce what and where.
When you have Mythic Botany, it will make it easier for you to create 1.16.5 crops like grapes, which is required by the farmer in the game. It will help you determine which crops are best to plant on which terrain. As you can see, it is not only a farming game but also a strategy game. As you complete levels and complete challenges, you move up to the next level and the challenge still remains, do it again and do it harder!
