Welcome to the World of Minecraft – a survival mode where you will explore, mine and build your way through the Great Ocean. A newbie gamer would ask: “How do I get started in Minecraft?” And the answer is simple: just get creative!
Primitives are mobs you will encounter in the game. You will need to mine for resources and build structures for them to stay healthy. If you mine in the wrong area or mine too much you will have to fight the mob – that’s the only part of the game you won’t have to worry about fighting – until you get a sufficient level to go into bigger fights with the bigger monsters. You will also be able to find some more advanced resources that you can use to make yourself stronger and survive in the wilderness.
Primitives have simple, green colored skin and no armor. You will be able to mine blocks that are up to three blocks high, but on the lower levels you will only mine one block high. Once you are able to make the primitive, the first thing you should do is construct a basic shelter for it. There are several different types of shelter available, but in order to build the simplest shelter you should use the cobble-block wall method.
After the initial construction, you can start adding some features to your Primitives mob. For example, make sure you add a fence around the outside of the house. Try to place the fence at a distance from the primitives, so that you will not have trouble hunting it down once you stray near it. When you are ready to harvest the crops, simply pick them up and place them in the hopper. The hopper will automatically transfer the crops to the storage chest when you are ready to eat them.
You should make sure that when you are playing as a primitive you always have something in your inventory to repair. As the game progresses, you will accumulate a large amount of broken Primitives. When this happens you can either repair these items or destroy them to prevent others from being able to steal them. This prevents the entire neighborhood from being ruined due to vandalism – just destroying one item will stop it for a while.
For the most part, it is not difficult to play as a primitive. The only difference is that you won’t be able to pick fruit, seeds, and ore – which make farming easier. Also, be careful about going up the edge of a mountain if you aren’t experienced enough to know whether or not there are monsters lurking up there. Most monsters are fairly easy to defeat.
