Welcome to the review of the new and popular Minecraft Mod, Protosky Map 1.16.5 Maker. I am sincerely happy that after spending almost a month testing this mod, I have finally got round to writing up my honest review. My mission was to see if it lived up to all the hype surrounding it. In a word – yes, it did! Read on to learn more from my in-depth review of the mod.
So what exactly is the point of having a map in the game, anyway? Well, I’ve been playing for about two years now and rarely ever go out of the house without at least one such map in hand. If you ask me, it’s a great way to keep track of where you’ve been, who you’ve met, where you’re going and just general communication stuff. maps are also great for creativity purposes as well. If you want to create something, you can easily draw it up on the screen and then see how it looks.
The way you use the screen to create your maps though is quite different from the way in which I used to do it. When I was using those stick figures that were on my computer screen, I couldn’t really do much more than move them around a little bit, change their color or whatever. With the Protosky map maker, however, you are able to actually create a fully functioning map with all its features enabled. All of those little moving things are now clickable and everything works in an automatic fashion.
You will of course need to be online to actually create the map. However, once you have connected, it really is very easy to get started. You select a location on the map for your minecraft home and from there, you can drag and drop all your items that you would like to place in the room. You can then start creating your home by placing walls, furnishing the rooms, adding anything else that you might want.
Once you finish up with the interior of the cabin, you are able to move outside. What this means is that you can now take a look at all of the sights that are surrounding you and decide what you would like to do. Some people love to walk along the river and enjoy looking out at all of the boats and what they are doing. Others might enjoy taking a stroll through the forest and seeing all of the creatures that roam the land.
This is such a simple concept that I am surprised that it hasn’t caught on sooner. As technology develops, games become more complex and players become frustrated with the difficulty of playing them. Why not give it a try? It really isn’t that hard to get into, and after a few runs you will start to wonder why you never had minecraft when you were a kid.
