When I first started playing minecraft, I didn’t know what to do with all those refined storage chests and shovels that my character would keep collecting but I just couldn’t seem to get rid of them. There are several different options for getting rid of these objects. Some are better than others though. You can pay for the pure delete option in the add ons, but you have to keep an eye on your wallet until you get lots of cash to afford it. I decided to try out a storage chest for my character and it really did make a big difference in how I cleaned up my world.
With the refined storage addons, I was able to store all sorts of things in chests like food, recipes and seeds. This made it very convenient for farming as well as creating an easy way to sell all the stuff I no longer needed. Using this method of gathering items, it took me less time as I no longer had to go back and forth to the auction house to pick up items. Plus, with all of the extra storage space, I was able to create 1.16.5 more jobs and crops.
So if you are having trouble finding good loot in older versions of the game, there is hope for you yet. I still wasn’t satisfied with how much loot I was getting, so I created a new journal for my characters to note items found and recipes used. This way I could always go back and check that loot lists I had used before. It was a great way to stay organized.
After completing the add on, I decided to look for a chest that could be repaired. It helped me a lot too. When I wanted to repair a particular item, all I had to do was right click on it and choose the “repair” option from my storage menu. After repairing it, I could pick it back up and store it again without using my precious crafting supplies.
With all of my extra inventory space, I had a lot more options when it came to crafting. I could craft more armor and weapons. Plus, I got several different recipes for the same items. All of these were courtesy of the Minecraft Mod, Minecraft Refined Storage!
So if you have trouble finding chests in games that have actual drawers in them, try using the Minecraft Refined Storage Addons! I wish I had realized this sooner.
