Not long ago, I found myself playing the game Minecraft and was very impressed with the way the modded features of the game turned a normal farm into something so much more. If you’ve ever played before, I’m sure you’ll agree, most farms are pretty much cookie cutter. That’s what you get when you play on average games. When I first started out, I wanted to create 1.16.5 my own farms so I could have more freedom in the game.
So, I created my first world and started to research on the Vanilla Minecraft Mod. Basically, I just wanted to add plants and other stuff to the farms that were already there. By doing this, I could get around a lot more block spawning. Now, the vanilla game didn’t allow me to place multiple blocks of the same kind on one block. However, the mod allows me to place up to 5 blocks of the same type on one block. That allowed me to place plants on them, create a fence to enclose my land or anything else I wanted to do.
So, I began to look through the Minecraft Mod to see what kind of crops I could grow. After doing some research, I discovered the vanilla game doesn’t have any crops at all. It only has seeds for crops. So, my research paid off because I can now plant seeds onto the crops that are already in the game. It’s truly unique, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have more freedom in the game.
One of the first crops I planted were Wheat, Potatoes and Cactus. I wasn’t sure if I should plant them outdoors or indoors, but I decided that the latter was best. You have to remember that in the real world, all three of these crops are grown inside the green house. However, they are not available in the game yet. That means I had to make do with my indoor farm.
To start growing these crops, all you have to do is go to the “Seed Planting” section of the crafting table and choose which seed you want to plant. Just remember that if you change the seed before placing it down, it will become unusable. Once you have finished creating your indoor farm, you can then go outside to see how well your crops are doing. If you find that some are growing better than others, you can try to replant some of them.
All in all, this mod really makes farming in Minecraft very easy. Even if you’re a beginner, it’s fun to plow your land and watch your crops grow. You will be able to customize your crops with various materials such as straw, hay and leaves to name a few. You’ll even find that it’s possible to dye your crops so they will look like crops that are native to the game.
